Small orders, shared routes.

Register compatible destination and timing preferences. Freight consolidation only proceeds after a real carrier quotation and separate buyer approval.

03 · Negotiate terms

Ask for better cash flow.

Request MOQ, carton price, opening order, deposit, OA30/60/90, D/A, letter of credit, or territory options. Approval depends on supplier, bank and credit assessment.

04 · Import with clarity

Know your landed cost.

Get a product-specific checklist covering paperwork, duties, shipping responsibilities, grade, inspection and documented returns.

Trade terms, translated into plain English

MOQ
Minimum order quantity. Ask for a sample or mixed-carton opening order.
Unit / carton price
Compare unit price, pieces per carton, carton dimensions and currency.
Opening order / deposit
Ask for minimum first-order value and when the balance falls due.
OA30 / 60 / 90
Open-account credit: payment after an agreed period. Only available when approved in writing.
D/A
Documents against acceptance, a documentary collection arrangement; it is not a bank payment guarantee.
Territorial exclusivity
Request territory, minimum purchases, duration and termination terms in writing.
Ghana documentation
Product-specific registration, permits, standards, labels, invoice, packing list and transport document must be checked before shipment.
